Dehai Tao J.D., Attorney at Law

Dehai graduated from the University of Michigan Law School with both J.D. and LL. M in 1991 and 1988. He was a law professor in China before coming to the United States.  He was elected as Super Lawyer in Immigration for several years.

In 2021 Mr. Tao was elected as the Most Honored Lawyers (top 10%) by the American Registry.

Jane Wang J.D., Attorney at Law

Jane (Jie) Wang is a Principle attorney and partner in Dehai Tao, P.C. She received her J.D. degree from Michigan State University College of Law. Ms. Wang is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.

Ms. Wang’s major fields of practice include Labor Certification, intercompany transferee visa (L1), Alien of Extraordinary Ability (EB-1a), Outstanding Researcher (EB-1b), Nonimmigrant working visas (L, H & O), and family-based immigration.

Ms. Wang has more than 10 years experience in both employment-based and family related immigration law as well as estate and trust law issues. She is fluent in English and Mandurian.  

Dan Duan J.D. Attorney at Law

Having gone through the American immigration system as a 9-year-old from China, Dan uses the unique circumstances of his upbringing to aid his clients: Possessing the urgency and sensitivity of an immigrant, but with the thought process and procedural conduct of an American. Since joining Dehai Tao PC in 2014, Dan has practiced nonimmigrant and immigrant matters in a variety of different industries including engineering, manufacturing, and IT amongst others. Guided by the principle that you are only as good as your last case, he provides the same attention and energy to every client, be they individuals, small companies, or multinational conglomerates.

Dan is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan, and U.S. District Court, E.D. of Michigan. He obtained his J.D. from Wayne State University Law School in 2013, where he was also part of the Asylum and Immigration Law Clinic, and his B.A. from Michigan State University in 2010.

In his spare time, Dan enjoys traveling and hiking, he recently hiked the Grand Canyon R2R and will look to complete the Presidential Traverse and Nā Pali Coast Trail amongst others in the future.
